How can I get my hair to grow.?

I've never cut my hair, and never will. It goes down to between my behind and knees, closer to my knees though. I want to get it to grow just a little past my knees, maybe another 3 or 4 inches. What is the best way to do that, nonchemically? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D

wow that's amazing! only wash your hair every other day so that your natural oils have time to condition your scalp and keep it healthy.

try to get a "hair and nails" vitamin to take daily and if you can't find one it will be easy to find pre-natal vitamins, which are wonderful for hair and nail growth.

massage your scalp once a day to bring bloodflow to the scalp, this will stimulate growth.

gooood luck!!! :)

Mane and Tail Horse shampoo is favored by a lot of long haired rockers. When I got out of the Navy, I wanted my hair to grow back long as quickly as possible. I got a bunch of pre-natal vitamins from some pregnant friends and my hair really kicked into high gear and grew back quite quickly.

i never understood why people would want their hair that long. if you want to do this nonchemically, then you'll probably just have to wait. hair grows half an inch a month.

try not to wash it too often and maybe just cut the end BUT a little bit.

don't use chemicals for your hair

WEll you may not understand this but baking Soda is a very good hair growing agent . That cleanses the follicles and allows your hair to grow more and it also will thicken it up , and thats the down side for people who have long hair already . Mix a teaspoon in warm water and add your shampoo , or wash your hair then rinse it out then pour on the baking soda and warm water mix then just ring your hair out and dry......it works either way . Its a Home remedy that really works . Its the cleansing of the follicles that does it . Hey i wear a hat all the time have for many years . My hair was really thinning and falling out , i use it starting out 2or 3 times a week then i cut it down to 1 or 2 times a month now , i can actually see my hair growing and thickening up . IT Really works !! It takes time but you WILL see the difference !!

Hope that may help

You could do like Vivian said and put dish soap in it...not! Angel said that her mom had to use Joy when she was younger and her hair was really knarly. Yuck!! : D I don't know what could help you. I think there are hair growth vitamins that you can take but that would be chemically, right? Go to forums.thelonghaircommunity.com (I think that's it) and search hair massage. There's a massage on there that will help your hair grown and also soften it up. I noticed the softening and calming as soon as I did. And you know my hair....
