No supplements other than viatmins, is there any food I can eat? My hair hasn't been dyed at all, I do not blow dry it or anything. I just want it to grow a little faster. I have to be in a wedding October 19th. My longest layer is at my shoulders, my shortest is right at my ears.... any help i would appreciate it.

ok so i have the same problem. i have really dry skin and its on my head to. heres what i did to get healthy hair. make sure u wash ur hair every2days. when u finish put in any vitimin product in ur hair. like a light oil some misting spray. put a light silk scarf on and in the morning comb it out. if u have to curl it light heat not to hot it breaks it off more. if use a perm to staighten ur hair use a light childrens perm it is more gentle to ur hair and sclap. u should spend no more then 20 on the products like the oils and misting spray. my hair was under my ear and now down by my shoulders it worked for so u try it out and let me know

Hair is very similiar in structure to our fingernails. Have you noticed when you are washing dishes frequently (no dishwasher) your fingernails grow faster! Why? The warm water improves the circulation to that area so that nutrients are transported there faster. Washing your hair with warm water and any shampoo will promote faster growth. (Don't overdo it)

brushing your hair before you wash it, and after

and while your shampooing massage you roots for a minute or two. but dont use too much shampoo or your hair will dry out and frizz/ break off.

and getting it trimmed every 6/8 weeks gets rid of dead ends and makes it grow.

well....u probably wouldnt do this cuz ur hair is already short but like trimming it or cutting it makes it grow a little faster and also theres a korean rumor (if u didnt figure already, im korean lol) that if u think of perveted things ur hair grows faster and there have been experiments to prove it right.

Try using coconut oil from the health food store (yes, the health food store). Massage it in your scalp and roots every night (or morning) and watch the magic happen! lol. Just a precaution, your hair won't hold a curl if you use it, so if you like your hair curly you will have to use stiff spray.
