I used to have sholder length hair but in a story I'm tired of telling the salon messed it up.

So how do you get your hair to grow back quickly? my hair is really thick but its short.

I have seen too many black girls who put way to much grease in their hair and their hair never grew.

I am black and if I tilt my head back as far as it can go, my hair will touch the top of my butt. I only relax my hair about every 2 months, sometimes every 8-10 weeks. ( I relax my own hair, I don't go to beauty salons. When I wash my hair I use Pantene relaxed and natural. It helps seal in moisture. I only wash my hair like once a month and when I do I deep condition.

At night you should wrap your hair and cover with a silk scarf or a do-rag.

And don't oil your hair every night. Thats too much!! Only oil your hair about every week or every other week.

not sure if it's true, but someone told me to shampoo less and it will grow faster. you can still shower and rinse with water, but they said leaving the natural oils in your hair longer makes it grow faster. again, not sure if this is true, but it may be worth a shot!

im pretty sure that omega 3 fatty acids and flaxseed oil will make your hair and nails grow fast. my hair is already long so i'm not sure how much longer it will get, but my nails have grown so much since i started taking these supplements.

also, try conditioning or strengthening treatments/masks (i use anything by aveda) and avoid using a flat iron as much as possible. this will prevent split ends.

i would avoid any products that claim to have a quick fix...i think its a scam.
